When the weeknight chaos hits, the last thing you want is a mountain of dishes. Enter this One-Pan Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp and Broccoli. It is vibrant, packed with protein, and comes together in less time than it takes to get a delivery driver to your door.
Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Optional: Sesame seeds and red pepper flakes for garnish
Instructions
- Prep the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Set aside.
- Sauté the Veggies: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli florets and a splash of water. Cover for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp and bright green. Remove broccoli from the pan and set aside.
- Sear the Shrimp: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Combine: Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp. Let it bubble and thicken for about 1 minute. Add the broccoli back into the pan and toss everything together until glazed and glossy.
- Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately over rice, quinoa, or on its own for a low-carb treat.
