When the weeknight chaos hits, you need a recipe that delivers restaurant-quality flavor without the hour-long prep. This 15-Minute Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp is my ultimate ‘secret weapon’ for busy evenings. It is rich, velvety, and incredibly satisfying, proving that fast food can be healthy and gourmet.
Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the shrimp in a single layer, season with salt and pepper, and sear for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes until the sauce is smooth.
- Add the fresh spinach to the sauce and stir until it begins to wilt.
- Return the shrimp to the pan, toss to coat in the creamy sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or zoodles.
