When the weeknight chaos hits, you need a recipe that delivers restaurant-quality flavor without the hour-long prep. This 15-Minute Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp is my ultimate ‘secret weapon’ for busy evenings. It is rich, velvety, and incredibly satisfying, proving that fast food can be healthy and gourmet.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the shrimp in a single layer, season with salt and pepper, and sear for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes until the sauce is smooth.
  5. Add the fresh spinach to the sauce and stir until it begins to wilt.
  6. Return the shrimp to the pan, toss to coat in the creamy sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or zoodles.
