When you’re short on time but craving something indulgent, this Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp is your secret weapon. It is rich, garlicky, and pairs perfectly with crusty bread or pasta. You don’t need a professional kitchen to make a meal that tastes like a five-star restaurant.
Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup fresh baby spinach
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the shrimp and sear for 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Reduce heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream and Parmesan. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Stir in the spinach until wilted, then add the lemon juice and red pepper flakes.
- Return the shrimp to the pan, toss to coat in the sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately over your favorite pasta or with a side of crusty bread.
