When you’re short on time but craving something that tastes like it came straight from an Italian bistro, this 15-Minute Creamy Garlic Parmesan Gnocchi is your new best friend. Using shelf-stable gnocchi makes this a pantry-friendly miracle that comes together in less time than it takes to scroll through your social media feed.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (500g) potato gnocchi
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package directions (usually until they float, about 2-3 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant and golden.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and red pepper flakes. Bring to a gentle simmer for 2 minutes to allow the sauce to slightly thicken.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until completely melted and the sauce is velvety smooth.
  5. Add the cooked gnocchi and baby spinach to the skillet. Toss gently until the spinach is wilted and every piece of gnocchi is perfectly coated in that luxurious sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately with an extra sprinkle of cheese if you’re feeling fancy!
