When you’re short on time but craving something that tastes like it came straight from an Italian bistro, this 15-Minute Creamy Garlic Parmesan Gnocchi is your new best friend. Using shelf-stable gnocchi makes this a pantry-friendly miracle that comes together in less time than it takes to scroll through your social media feed.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (500g) potato gnocchi
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package directions (usually until they float, about 2-3 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant and golden.
- Pour in the heavy cream and red pepper flakes. Bring to a gentle simmer for 2 minutes to allow the sauce to slightly thicken.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until completely melted and the sauce is velvety smooth.
- Add the cooked gnocchi and baby spinach to the skillet. Toss gently until the spinach is wilted and every piece of gnocchi is perfectly coated in that luxurious sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately with an extra sprinkle of cheese if you’re feeling fancy!
