Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  2. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and saute for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce starts to thicken.
  4. Add the spinach to the sauce and stir until wilted.
  5. Return the shrimp to the pan and toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Let it simmer for another minute to heat through. Serve immediately with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
